Kennesaw State University (KSU) is a 4-year University of Georgia institution based in Kennesaw, Georgia, a suburb on Atlanta’ s northwest side. It was established in 1963 as Kennesaw Junior College with an enrollment of 1,000 students. In 1976 the name was changed to Kennesaw College as it was a 4-year institution. It was renamed Kennesaw State University in 1996. The university’s 240 acre campus consists of class room structures, an sports complex, students center, parking decks, and four condominium real estate buildings.
